1. Finer control over specific movements
In my hands, Angel gives me tighter control over how individual teeth move. The planning platform lets me dictate the mechanics of each movement precisely — and that control is why orthodontists consistently rate Angel’s case designs highly for precision. When a bite correction needs rubber bands, most aligner systems require either bonding a small button to your tooth or cutting a notch into the aligner to make room for one. The angelButton is different: it’s manufactured into the aligner itself. For most elastics, there’s no bonding appointment, nothing glued to your teeth, and nothing to break off and send you back to the office.
4. No cuts in the aligner
A cut removes plastic exactly where the tray needs its strength. Elastic cutouts can deform an aligner and compromise its fit and tracking — which means the aligner supports the planned movements less effectively. Because the angelButton is part of the tray, the aligner stays whole and keeps doing its job at full strength.
